The Season 24 of the beloved animated show ended in 2019, and we have seen nothing after that. However, the producers have released an hour-long video containing clips of behind the scenes to showcase how it is not easy to make “South Park.” The video was shot remotely, and we see the creators engaging in a lot of video conferencing to decide on several aspects of the story. The team of South Park attended video conferences after video conferences, engaged with an awful amount of people, built an animation, worked on the characters, did a voice-over, and everything else in their home environment with trivial home activities surrounding them. 

Of course, family issues are important, but there is a time and place for everything and the pandemic blurred the lines between family and work-life if not evaporating it entirely.

You can’t build animation and work on your children or ethernet cables at the same time. It’s tough to manage both. But the team managed well, and the work is almost done. Now, they can all watch this video and share a laugh.

The video aired on September the 30th, Wednesday on Comedy Central at 7 PM North American Central Time, and on 8 PM Eastern Time. If you do not have Comedy Central channel on your tv, you need to gain access through streaming websites on the internet.
